I remember many visits to the farm in New Berlin with my sisters and parents, Carl and Ruth Anderson. The last time I saw Gladys and Lewis was when they attended the party we had for my parents combined 80th birthdays in Middleburgh N.Y. They all had such a good time together. Am so sorry for your loss. Think of all the good times you had together in the past. We are left only with memories. From what I understand, your mother had a full and active life----and enjoyed her health for many years.
She was fortunate.

My parents were Anne and Arthur Larson and I had a sister Ardis. We lived in Mount Vernon New York and Rocky Point, Long Island. My father worked in New Berlin after leaving Sweden in 1923 and our family spent many wonderful times at the Austin farm in New Berlin. Gladys was a wonderful friend to my mother. They visited us often for fishing on Long Island sound. Gladys will be missed by myself and my cousins, Laila and Lynne Anderson, Janet Swanson,Esther Bartlett. I tried to phone her yesterday which would have been my mother's 103rd birthday and found her phone disconnected. We always spoke on her birthday. Please give condolences to Elaine, and Grace. Sincerely, Janice.
