Thelma A. Manley, 75 yrs old of South Edmeston, NY passed away on December 13, 2014 at MIB Hospital, Cooperstown, NY.

Thelma was born on June 21, 1939 in New Berlin, NY the daughter of Harold & Marian (Pearsall) Wiggins. Her childhood was spent in the New Berlin, NY area.

She worked as the Head of Activities at the Chase Nursing Home, New Berlin, NY and loved cooking, baking, gardening, flowers, crossword puzzles and taking care of others.

Thelma is survived by her mother; Marian Wiggins, her partner in life of 40 years; Edward Utter, sons; Richard D. Manley Jr. of Banning, CA and Anthony A. Manley Sr. of Elkton, MD as well as 3 grandchildren; Anthony A. Manley Jr., Daniel A. Manley & Deanna L. Manley.  She is also survived by her brother; Norman Wiggins.

She was predeceased by one daughter; Deanna L. Manley.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Dakin Funeral Home LP, New Berlin, NY with the Very Reverend Charles Taylor officiating.  Calling hours will be held from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM prior to the funeral service.

The interment will be held in the Fairview Cemetery, New Berlin, NY.
