I will miss Gerry terribly. It was a joy to have him at Chase. He was the true definition of a gentleman.
He was a friend to all of the residents and staff. We could not have asked for a gentler soul. Rest in peace my Canadian friend.

My thoughts and prayers are with Gerry's family. He was a very nice man. I enjoyed chatting with Gerry and getting to know him while my grandfather was at Chase Nursing Home. He always had a story to tell and a friendly "hello" Rest in peace. With Deepest Sympathy.

Gerry was one of the kindness people I knew. I knew him from when we all lived in Syracuse and he was married to his first wife Ruth Abdo. They were wonderful neighbors who were part of our family. In later years after Ruth had passed away he began visiting my family in New Berlin. My mother introduced Gerry to his second wife Marguerite Duley. He and Marguerite later moved away from New Berlin. I have found memories of drive in movies to see Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, family feasts and gatherings, and amazing food! May Gerry now find peace and happiness!
