Catherine Diane Cummings 66 yrs. old of South Plymouth, NY passed away on August 30, 2015 at her home.
Catherine was born on April 9, 1949 in Norwich, NY the daughter of Glenn & Norma (Wilcox) Jenks. Her childhood was spent in the New Berlin & Columbus NY areas. She was a 1967 graduate of New Berlin Central School.
On December 2, 1967 she married Terry Cummings who survives her.
Catherine was employed by many local area businesses including Preferred Mutual Insurance Company, Frontier Telephone Co., Simmons Precision, New York Central Mutual Insurance as well as NBT Bank, in their customer service department. She was also a member of the United Methodist Church of Plymouth where she taught Sunday school.
She is survived by her two sons; Andrew & Rindy Cummings of Norwich, NY and Joel & Liza Cummings also of Norwich and 3 grandchildren; Tanner, Landon & Kennedy Cummings. She is also survived by her sister; Dorothy & Harvey Stirewalt & brother; Robert Jenks. She was predeceased by her brother; Dr. Charles Jenks.
A private burial will be held at the North Norwich Cemetery.
