Edwin A. Davis, 70 yrs. old of West Edmeston, NY passed away on December 25, 2015 at his home.

Edwin was born on February 6, 1945 in Utica, NY the son of Frank Edwin Oliver & Laurel Davis Pierce.  His childhood was spent in Miller Mills and Brookfield, NY.  He served in the US Army from 1963-1966 and was stationed in Korea and later become the owner and operator of the North Eastern Tire Company of West Edmeston.

On September 23, 1967 he married Kathryn Chase who survives him.

He enjoyed attending local auctions, logging and working in the tire business for 30 years.

Edwin is survived by his children; Richard Davis of Norwich, Gene Davis of Oxford,  Edwin Davis Jr. of  Burlington Flats & Frank G. Davis West Edmeston, 20 grandchildren & 23 great grandchildren.  He is also survived by his siblings; Roy Pierce, Robert Oliver, Alida Kosinski, Val Oliver, Julia Boyland & Jackie McCumber.  He was predeceased by two sisters; Arlouine Burdick & Persilla Webb and one brother, Edwin Oliver Jr.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church, West Edmeston, NY, with Pastor Gary Busch officiating. 

The interment will be held in the South Brookfield Cemetery.
