Joan B. Barr of New Berlin, New York died on April 09, 2016.

She was born on September 21, 1924 in White Plains, New York.

She was married to Charles Yerger Barr, late of New Berlin, on November 16, 1946, of Yonkers, New York, on November 16, 1946.

Her parents were Agnes (Reilly) Stevens and Kenneth Stevens. Her stepfather was Andrew Biggar.

She was a graduate of White Plains High School and attended the White Plains Business School.

She had been employed by the American Paper Company of New York, NY; Ward Carpenter Engineers, White Plains; the Welfare Board and the Planning Board of Flemington, New Jersey; and Semi-Conductor, Fairmont, New Jersey.

In addition to living in New York and New Jersey, she had lived in Vermont. She had resided in New Berlin since 1985.

She has two sons, Michael C. Barr, married to Helen R. Barr, and of Bedminster, New Jersey; and Jeffrey A. Barr, married to Tatiana G. Barr, of New Haven, Connecticut. 

A private service will be held and the convenience of the family.
