Dorothy Mae (Hoosier) Eckert, 80 yrs. old of Cobleskill, NY passed away on June 25, 2016 at MIB Hospital, Cooperstown, NY.

Dorothy was born on December 27, 1935 in South Kortright, NY the daughter of Edward & Eunice (Crandall) Hoosier.  Her childhood was spent in the Mt. Upton, NY area.  She was employed at Kmart of Sidney, NY for many years.

Dorothy’s husband of 46 years, Robert Eckert, predeceased her on December 6, 2015.

She is survived by her children; Kenneth (Jane) Hotaling, Robert (Elaine) Hotaling, Sharon (Gary) Rowe, Lisa (Michael) Todd and Penny (Andrew) Kilmer.  She is also survived by her brother, Ed Hoosier and sister, Betty Cronk as well several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her brother; Earl Hoosier and sister, Barbara Hotaling.
