Edward L. Logan 81 yrs. old of Pittsfield, NY passed away on April 18, 2016 at his home.
Ed was born in Mission Hill, Boston, MA the son of Hubert & Muriel (Blake) Logan. On June 17, 1978 he married Helene (Bernier) Logan who predeceased him on May 2, 2013.
Ed was the owner & operator of Logan Motor Express and was a disabled United States Marine.
He is survived by his children; Michelle (Bobby) MacMillan of Prince Edward Island, Dyan (Gary) Graney of Browns Mills, NJ, Tammy (Mike) Dempsey of Bloomingdale, NJ, James (Theresa) Dempsey of Melbourne, FL and Jennifer (Jeff) Amo of Pittsfield, NY. He is also survived by grandchildren; Ryan MacMillan, Michael Graney, Logan MacMillan, Kevin Graney, Cole MacMillan, Alexis Dolph (James Weber), Taylor Dempsey, Sean Sulsona, and Cali Dempsey, great-grandchildren; Brayden Gross, Noah Graney & Baine Weber, sisters; Muriel Kelly & Deborah (Donald) MacDonald and brother; Michael (Jeanne) Logan as well as many nieces & nephews.
He was predeceased by one sister; Sue D’Arrigo.
Calling hours will be held from 1:00-3:00 PM on Saturday April 23, 2016 with the funeral service immediately following at 3:00 PM at the Dakin Funeral Home LP, New Berlin, NY with Father Lester Smith officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to the Frank H. Arnold Post 348American Legion, Academy St., New Berlin NY or the American Cancer Society. |
