Another familiar face is gone. I had the pleasure of serving with Thelma in St. Andrew's Altar Guild for many years. She was a lovely lady. She always had a smile when she waited on people at Dyke's, but I never knew what a sense of humor she had until I attended the guild dinners at the rectory! I send my deepest condolences to the family.

When we think of New Berlin we think of Thelma. She was always a big part of our lives growing up. She was one of the kindest souls, always giving you a smile and a cheerful greeting whether in the drug store, in church or just passing on the street. She was a great lady and we send our deepest sympathy to Jennie, Teresa, Carl, Joanne, Jim and their families.

I have known Thelma for only the past few years, at Chase where I play piano for the residents.
Thelma was always smiling, and loved to hear the waltzes. God now has another great lady in His midst. Rest in peace, my friend.
