Cathy D. Hawkins, 58 yrs. old of Mt. Upton, NY passed away on May 17, 2017 in Johnson City, NY.

Cathy was born on October 1, 1958 in Dunkirk, NY the daughter of Vincent & Billie (Howell) Loret.  Her childhood was spent in Long Island. She was a graduate of William Floyd High School in Mastic, NY.

Cathy was a school bus driver and was also employed by the Monmouth County Court and Suffolk Police department.

On October 12, 1985 she married Garry Hawkins who survives her.

She is also survived by her children; Garry Hawkins Jr. of Matawan, NJ, Brittany Hawkins of Toms River, NJ, Brianna Umland of Coram, NY and Brandon “Bubba” Hawkins of Brick, NJ.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the home of Virginia Tyson, 92 Ocean Ave, Center Moriches, NY.

The interment and graveside service will be held on June 5, 2017 at 11:00 AM in Fairview Cemetery, New Berlin, NY.
