Camille Joseph Hyder Jr. (Husky), 80 yrs. old of New Berlin, NY passed away on August 18, 2018 at his home in New Berlin.

Camille was born on December 26, 1937 in Utica, NY the son of Camille & Reba Hyder.  His childhood was spent in Utica where he attended Utica Proctor High School.  While in school, he enjoyed playing baseball. He served his country for the US Army from 1960-1962.

He was employed by Proctor and Gamble for 33 years. After retiring, he spent his time as a working member of the American Legion and playing golf.

On July 4, 1986 he married Deborah Izard in Norwich, NY.

In addition to his wife Deborah, Camille is survived by his children; Mark, Robynne, Kelley, Opie & Matthew as well as his step children, Donnie & Tracy.

A prayer service will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 6:00 PM at the Dakin Funeral Home, LP, New Berlin, NY with Pastor Robert Decker officiating.

Calling hours will be held prior to the prayer service from 4:00-6:00 PM also at the funeral home.

Deb & Family: My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this sad time. I played fast-pitch softball along side Husky for many years,
in addition to taking New York Yankees baseball trips. I will miss him greatly, but will always remember him with a smile.
