Mary L. Conklin, 90, of Pittsfield, New York passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 29, 2019.

Mary was born on December 6, 1928 in Otego, New York, daughter of the late Louis Anthony and Gladys Macumber. She lost her mother at the age of ten-years-old and then was raised by her grandmother, Eunice Macumber Unger and attended the Gilbertsville Central School District. She retired from B F Goodrich Simmonds Precision in Norwich, N.Y.

She was survived by her sister Evelyn Emerson (Charles) of Sydney; children, Barbara Roberts (Jet) of Leesburg, Florida, Donald Anthony (Magda) of Dingmans Ferry of Pennsylvania, William Conklin (Bonnie) of Morris, New York, Judy Meade (Thomas) of Norwich, New York, and Kelly
Gilstrap of Central, South Carolina; grandchildren, Colleen Sims, Gerald Phillips, Michael Anthony (Mona Lisa), Billiejo Ray (Thomas), Bobbi Lampron (Timothy), Rachael Conklin (Tyler), Jobie Conklin, Jr. (Kate), Jessica Kirby (A.J.), Debbie Harrison (Justin), Brittany Ray (Stanley),
Elijah Conklin (Jeanetta), Travis Conklin, Dylan Chapman (Lauren), and Richard Conklin (Megan); 41 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded by her parents; sons, Gary Dibble and Jobie Conklin, Sr.; daughter-in-law, Barb Conklin; son-in-law, Thomas Ray; and grandson, Emerson Phillips.

Mary spent most of her life in the Chenango/Otsego County Area. She worked hard while raising her family. She loved and lived for her family and friends. She spent a lot of time on crossword puzzles, watching game shows and HGTV and loving her cats over the years.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM in the Butternut Valley Cemetery, Copes Corners, NY on Friday, October 4, 2019 with Father Steve White officiating. An Outdoor Celebration of Life reception will follow the service where family and friends can gather at the home of her son, William Conklin at 116 Webster Terrace, Morris, New York 13808.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary’s memory to the Chenango SPCA, 6160 Co. Rd. 32, Norwich, New York 13815.
