Elizabeth J. Kroenung, 88 yrs. old of the Town of Columbus, NY passed away on December, 24, 2019 at MIB Hospital, Cooperstown, NY.

Elizabeth was born on April 10, 1931 in Chazy, NY the daughter of Samuel & Margaret Morrison.  Her childhood was spent in Pittsburgh, PA.  She attended Pearl River High School, Pearl River, NY and SUNY Morrisville in Morrisville, NY studying nursing.

On August 3, 1951 she married Daniel J. Kroenung who predeceased her on November 29, 2017. 

Elizabeth worked for Avon and volunteered at New City Elementary School in New City, NY.  She was also a stay at home Mom.  She loved her dog Maggie and also enjoyed gardening and the wildlife in her backyard.  She fed her birds and chipmunks daily.  She was a wonderful baker, even though she hated pie.

She is survived by her children; Nancy & Jim Mullen of Tomkins Cove, NY, Mary Kroenung of Tuxedo Park, NY and Lynn Leonard of New Berlin, NY.  She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren; Nicole & Jason Kolling and their children, James, Lea, Walker and Evelynn, Shaun & Sabiha Mullen and their daughter Ariana, Angie & Mike Ehlers and their children, Annabelle & Daniel and granddaughter, Amy Leonard.

She was predeceased by grandchildren; Jamie Mullen & DJ Fanelli and siblings Mary Lou Carl and Samuel Morrison, Jr.
