Louis A. Brown, 80 yrs. old of the Town of Columbus, NY passed away on December 13, 2020 in Syracuse, NY.

Louis was born on March 8, 1940 in Oxford, NY.  His childhood was spent in the New Berlin, NY area where he attended New Berlin Central School.  He served in the US Army and later worked as a machinist for Automecha Ltd. of Oxford.  He was known to be able to fix or do anything.  He had a love of classic cars and was a particular fan of Fords.  He frequently said “A day is never wasted when you learn something new”, something his family and friends will remember always.

He is survived by his companion, Sharlene Loomis, his children; Shirley & Keith Winton of Columbus, Russell & Tammy Ray of Columbus, Karen & Russel Zvizdin of Cleveland, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.. He was predeceased by his wife, Martha (Dolly) Brown.

A graveside service will be held at a later date in the South Brookfield Cemetery with Pastor Rob Lloyd officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to the South Edmeston Community Church.
