Obituaries & Condolences

April Renee Johnson Harrington March 8, 1987 – January 11, 2020

April Renee Johnson Harrington, 32, died January 11, 2020 in Albany Medical Center surrounded by her loved ones.

A funeral and memorial service will be held for immediate family and close friends.

April was born in Utica, NY on March 8, 1987 to Diana Banta Lum and Brian Harrington.

Her four children, Haylee, Trae, Kiarra and Blake, survive her, as well as her two siblings; Kelly Lopez Miliano and Brian Harrington Jr., both of her parents, her step father, James Banta and several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and her grandparents.

April was a beautiful soul that was full of fun and laughter. April had the biggest heart I have ever seen; she would do just about anything for you. She loved her children more than anything. She was so fun to be around and always up for doing something. She also had the mouth of a sailor (she must have been one in her past life). She didn’t care what she said or who heard her. April was also known for stirring the pot just to get something going.

Memories’:
One time April stuck my whitey tighties in my pencil bag and I didn’t know it until I got to school and pulled them out of my book bag. (Brian Harrington Jr.)
