John Aloi, what a guy, (no nonsense) - I managed Victory Markets,(1972-87) next door to the Eagle Inn for a number of years, until my health caused me to leave New Berlin. As I remember, John had that working attitude to be involved in any business to be successful, I believe that was why he succeeded, along with a partner ready to help. It was a sad day when Victory bought the Inn to only increase their parking lot by 100%, never investing in New Berlin with a new market. The last time I met, Chris and John, I believe was at a doctor visit somewhere in the area, remembering old times in New Berlin.
It saddens me to read of his passing but we all reach a point and time where life is a struggle. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers during this time.
