Angelina Krause, 94 yrs. old, of New Berlin, NY passed away on January 21, 2023, in Johnson City, NY.

Angelina was born on November 17, 1928, in East Orange, NJ. She was the daughter of William and Antoinette Maffei. Her youth was spent in various parts of NJ and NY.

She attended NJ Teacher’s College, Newark, NJ, as well as St. Barnabas School of Nursing, Livingston, NJ, and Northeastern Bible College, Essex Fells, NJ. She worked as an LPN in two NJ hospitals before being employed by the US Postal Service.
She was married to Stanley Kluczek Jr. for 17 years until his death in 1968. They had three children, Andrea Fliedner, Stanley III, and Nancy Zeron. She and her second husband, Stanley Krause, lived in Bayonne, NJ, before retiring to New Berlin, NY, in 2000. They were married for 40 years until his death in 2015.

Her interests were reading, cooking, and singing, but her passion was spreading the Gospel of Christ by supporting various missionary endeavors and the local churches where she retained membership.

Angelina is predeceased by both husbands, Stanley Kluczek and Stanley Krause, her daughter,  Andrea Fliedner (William Jr.) and five brothers: Paul Maffei (Loretta), Joseph Maffei (Maddy and former wife Lily), Hugh Banner (Dolores), Joseph (Banner) Maffei (Maureen), and William Maffei (May).
She is survived by one brother: Anthony Maffei (Lynn), two children: Stanley III, Nancy Zeron (Rev. Paul), five grandchildren: William Fliedner III (April), Stanley Kluczek IV, Ann Rayder (Aaron), Ann Hixon (Harris), and Bonnie Frederick (Timothy III) and eight great grandchildren: Ava Fliedner, Arianna Rayder, Elijah Rayder, Jadon Rayder, Hanna Rayder, Evelyn Frederick, Timothy Frederick IV, and Einna Hixon as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation and funeral service to follow will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 27th at the Dakin Funeral Home LP, New Berlin, NY. Pastor Paul Zeron of Peoples Baptist Church, Bayonne, NJ, will be officiating.
