Donna Adams

Donna L. Adams, 68 yrs. old of Pittsfield, NY passed away on February18, 2024 at her home.

Donna was born on October 27, 1955, in New Berlin, NY, the daughter of Lewis & Ruth (Chesebrough) Backus.   Her childhood was spent in the New Berlin area, and she was a graduate of New Berlin Central School.   She was employed by the New Berlin Shoe Factory and helped out at Penny’s Place Diner.

On a snowy day in Oneonta, NY in 2001 she married Robert Adams who survives her.

In addition to her husband, Donna is survived by her children; Heather (Brian) Brown of Georgia, Mike Ashton & Chris Ashton both of Pittsfield and Amanda Ashton of Brookfield as well as numerous grandchildren and her brother, Dave Backus of Sherburne.   She was predeceased by her sister Dawn and brother Louis Backus.

Donna enjoyed going to garage sales and buying clothes for her family.   She loved family camping trips, hatching butterflies, and going out looking for deer during the hunting season.
