Wayne Bodie

Wayne J. Bodie Sr., 66 yrs. old of the Town of Pittsfield, passed away on June 30, 2024, at his home.

Wayne was born in Kingston, NY, the son of the late Charles P. Sr., and Mabel (Ostrander) Bodie.   He was raised in the Hamlet of Connelly, NY where he spent his childhood raising havoc with his sidekicks. He drove for Bundy Redi-Mix for many years and in later years, he enjoyed woodworking, small engine repair, and fishing with his brothers.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 32 years, Paula (Ray), daughters, Tressica Inez of Milford, NY, Dawn (Maddison) Garhartt of Mt Vision NY, son, Wayne J. Bodie Jr. of New Berlin, NY, sisters, Mary Orbacz of Kingston, NY, Mable (Craig) Coumbes of NC, Lee Foster and brother, Charles (Micky) Ostrander of Connelly, NY.   He also leaves behind his Connelly gang of longtime extended family and friends.

Wayne was predeceased by his brothers, William, Charles Jr., and Dean and sisters, Phyllis, Bonnie, Janet, Kandy, Vivian, Jennie and Chayanne.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at the family’s convenience.
