Charles Bodie

Charles P. Bodie Jr., 72 yrs. old of New Berlin, NY passed away on January 3, 2023, at his home.

Charles was born on July 9, 1950, in Kingston, NY the son of Charles P. Bodie Sr. and Mabel (Ostrander) Bodie. His childhood was spent in the Kingston area where he enjoyed hanging with street friends and being mischievous.   He lived live to the fullest and sometimes walked on the wild side of things.   He liked fishing, golfing and the horse races and was employed by Walmart for 25 years until his retirement.

On July 5, 1991, he married Karen (Kolivk) Bodie.   She predeceased him on November 14, 2020.

From his marriage to Diana Lambert in December 1968, Charles has his daughters; Misti (Jeff) Zuill of Bainbridge, NY, Stephanie (William) Fisher of New Berlin, NY and son Charles Bodie III of Edmeston.   Living at home are his sons; Chance and Chase Bodie.   He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and siblings; Mary Orbacz & Vivian Bodie of Connelly, NY, Wayne (Paula) Bodie of Pittsfield, NY, Mabel (Craig) Coumbes of Zebulon, NC and Lee Foster.

In addition to his wife Karen, he was predeceased by his parents, Charles Sr. & Mabel (Ostrander) Bodie, his sisters; Phyllis Mott, Bonnie Reynolds, Janet O’Dell, Kandy Mendock, Jennie Osborn, Chayanne Bodie and brothers; William Bodie and Dean Bodie.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
