Donald E. Buck-

Reverend Donald E. Buck of South New Berlin, NY , former pastor of the West Edmeston Baptist church (15 yrs.) went home to Glory on June 22, 2014.  Ordained in The Free Methodist Church and pastoring also in Wesleyan churches of New York, he held degrees from Roberts Wesleyan College and Niagara University.

A dual career in ministry and counseling provided 25 years as a Guidance Counselor in Warsaw, Cincinnatus and Unadilla Valley.  A member of the South New Berlin Fire Department, he served as Fire Police for 20 years and as Chaplain for the Chenango County Fire Association for over 10 years.

He is survived by sons Jeffrey (Lydia), Christopher (Irene) and Matthew (Kelly) and over 25 grandchildren, and wife of 25 yrs., Carolee.  His 2nd wife, Millie died July, 2011.  Step-children Sean (Charlene), Shannon and a very close father-daughter relationship with I.J. and her son, Dylan gave his life special moments for over 20 years.

Friends are invited to come to a wake at the First Baptist Church Parish House in West Edmeston anytime between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 28, 2014.

A luncheon will be provided by the First Baptist Church.  In lieu of flowers, bring your favorite recipe and a dish to share as Don loved a church supper.
