Tim Christian

Tim R. Christian, 84 yrs. old of the Town of Pittsfield, NY passed away on June 21, 2024, at his home.

Tim was born on June 25, 1939, in New Berlin, NY the son of Lloyd & Stella (LaFond) Christian.   His childhood was spent in New Berlin where he attended New Berlin Central School.   He worked as a self-employed farmer throughout his life and was also employed in the field of general construction for 10 years and later at Jelly Stone Campgrounds for 15 years.

On June 15, 1963, Tim married Veronica Gracyalny at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in New Berlin.   She survives him.

In addition to his wife Veronica, Tim is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Michele & Bob Wyman, his son and daughter-in-law, Thomas & Susie Christian and his daughter and son-in-law, Megan & Brian Billbrough.   He is also survived by his grandchildren, Courtney & Joey Pollimei, Gunnar Christian, Mason & Brittany Wyman, Skylar Christian & Blake Billbrough and great grandchildren, Dominic & Christian Pollimeni and Aubrey, Greyson & Noah Wyman.

Tim was a hard worker who always had to “have the hay done”.   He enjoyed going to livestock auctions, working and visiting Crystal Lake, hunting, farming and caring for animals.   He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and sitting on the porch with his Bud Light and having a chat.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024, at 3:00 PM at the Dakin Funeral Home LP with calling hours held prior from 1:00-3:00 PM also at the funeral home.   The interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery, New Berlin.
