William A. Conklin
December 16, 1957 – November 24, 2021

William passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at the age of 63.

William was born to the late William L. Conklin and Patricia V. (Carpenter) Conklin in Mount Kisco, NY.

William was raised in Peekskill, NY and was a graduate of Peekskill High School.

William is survived and will be greatly missed by his mother, his brother Andrew and his sister-in-law Eileen, his niece Elisa and her fiancé Jason, his longtime friend and companion Christian, and many other family members and friends.  William was predeceased by his wards, Bobby and Alvord, who meant the world to him.

After leaving Westchester County, William moved to Florida in 1985 where he spent the remainder of his life.  He worked many years as a group home manager and for a time, had his own florist shop, which he named after his much loved grandmother.

William will always be remembered for his love for his family, his friends, his animals, his clients and his love for Jesus.

A service will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Dakin Funeral Home, LP in New Berlin, NY.

A burial will follow immediately at Fairview Cemetery where William will be laid to rest with his father and beloved grandparents Arthur (Pat) and Rhoda Carpenter.
