James Cornell

James Louis Cornell, 58 yrs. old of New Berlin, NY , passed away on November 15, 2023, in Utica, NY.


Jim was born on August 5, 1965, in Oneonta, NY, the son of Charles L & Loretta E. Cornell.   He was a graduate of New Berlin Central School and was employed at Golden Artist Colors for over 20 years.

To know Jim was to love him.   He had a kind word for everyone he met.   His sons were his world, and he adored his fiancé, Brenda.   Jim loved music and relished time spent with family and friends.

Jim is survived by his sons, Michael J. and Joseph M. Cornell both of New Berlin, his fiancé, Brenda Crandall of New Berlin, his mother Loretta Cornell, siblings, Charles T. (Beverly) Cornell of Norwich, William W. (Jean) Cornell of New Berlin, Debbie L. (Duane) Perrigo of Williamsburg, VA, Ricky L.(Rita) Cornell of New Berlin, uncle, Thomas Grant of Harpursville, NY, his best friend, Mike Figger of Florida and numerous nieces, nephews & cousins.

He was predeceased by his father, Charles Cornell, maternal grandparents, Charles & Dolores Grant, paternal grandparents, Charles (Ivan) & Henrietta Cornell, nephew, Jeremy Hoag and brother-in-law, Duane Perrigo.
