Martin Cox

Martin E. Cox, 67 yrs. old of New Berlin, NY passed away on February 3, 2024, at Wilson Hospital, Binghamton, NY.
Martin was born on September 24, 1956, in Syracuse, NY, the son of Edward Ward & Charlotte Eloise Ransom.   His childhood was spent working on a farm in Cazenovia, NY.   He was a graduate of Cazenovia Central School.   On July 17, 1976, he married Bonnie L. (Horton) Cox. Who survives him.

Martin was a milk truck driver for Snyder’s of Canastota, NY for 22 years and later retired from the Hood milk plant in Oneida after 15 years.

In addition to his wife, Martin is survived by his children, Martin E. Cox Jr and wife Cassie of Smyrna, Matthew E. Cox and wife Rebekah of South New Berlin and Melissa L. Saccocci and husband Aron of South New Berlin.   He is also survived by his brothers, Daniel Cox and Junie Ward and sisters, Marjorie Morehouse Donzello, Andrea L. Cox and Calluah Kronk.

Martin was a loving father, grandfather, and husband.   A hard worker who was determined to take care of his family.   He had happy feet when he was getting something to eat! He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and bowling.   He had an amazing memory and never forgot a birthday.   He loved westerns and having political discussions.   He was amazing at giving sound advice and tried his hardest to steer his kids in the right direction.   He will be missed beyond measure.
