H. Ronald “Ron” Cross, 62, of New Berlin, NY, after a short battle with cancer. Ron passed away on August 2, 2024, at Albany Hospital. Born on May 12, 1962, in Hamilton, NY, Ron dedicated over 40 years of his life to working at Teds Auto Body as an auto body repair mechanic, showcasing his exceptional skills and passion for cars.

An avid racer, Ron spent over six years competing with his antique race car, proudly sporting the number 47 at several racetracks across the state. His passion for racing was a joy he loved to share with his sons, creating unforgettable memories together.
In addition to his love for racing, Ron had a profound affection for animals. He was a friend to all four-legged creatures and often opened his home to those in need. His caring nature extended beyond his family; in his parents' later years, he dedicated his time to caring for both of them, always ready to lend a hand with car repairs and restorations for anyone in need.
Ron is survived by his father, Howard Cross; son, Kenneth (Andrea) Cross; granddaughter, Aria Cross; niece, Audrey Moss; sister, Shelly Cross; and sister, Andrea (Fred) Miller. He was followed in death by his Son Steven Cross. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gail Cross.
Ron’s greatest passions in life were his sons, cars, and family. He lived life with a big heart, and those who knew him will remember him as kind, generous, and always willing to help.
