Robert Deihl

Robert “Bob” D. Deihl, 67 yrs. old of New Berlin, NY , formerly of Bloomsburg PA, passed away on Saturday April 8, 2023, with family by his side.   Bob was born in Muncy, PA on May 9, 1955, the son of Donald E. & Mary Ellen (Gray) Deihl.

He lived at the family homestead for 37 years where he was an avid outdoorsman.   Bob loved hunting, fishing for salmon and bluegills, butchering and was well known for his scrapple.

He retired from Bloomsburg Carpet and was the former Madison Township Supervisor.

Bob is survived by his wife of 49 years, the former LouAnn Carey.   He is also survived by three daughters, Ann Marie Lawrence of VA; Brenda Gross (Klein) of NY, Melissa Sides (Warren) of VT, seven grandchildren, a sister, Sally Knick and brother-in-law, the late Bernard Knick of Pittston and his brother, Edward Deihl also of Pittston.

The burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
