Donald Elliott

Donald J. Elliott, DVM, 95, of New Berlin, NY would like to let you know that his work here is done.

He received a call- a sort of offer- that he could not refuse, for an appointment from which he will not be returning. This new venture comes with a huge sign-on bonus, endless hours of happily tending to beautiful gardens, and a reunion with his family and friends who have answered before him.

Don left for his new assignment on May 26th 2024, from the Masonic Care Community in the presence of his loving wife of 70 years, Violet. Don leaves behind his children Sherri (Robert) Shackelford, Cindy (Gerard) Weis, and John (Karen) Elliott, his grandchildren Shane, Laura, Sara, Kelly (Jared), Matthew, Kristen (Matthew), and Jennifer, and his great grandchildren Shania, Caleb, Levi, Mila, Calvin, Nathan, Eli, and Jackson. He was pre-deceased by his daughter Debbie. Don had a quick wit and was a colorful raconteur of jokes that remained with him until the very end.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. May our memories of Don be a blessing.
