Margaret Foster

Margaret Edna Foster, 80 yrs. old of New Berlin, NY passed away on August 11, 2019 at her home.

Margaret was born on March 17, 1939 in Holmesville, NY the daughter of Howard & Ruth (Williams) Perrigo.  Her childhood was spent in the Franklin and Morris, NY areas.  She was a Morris Central School graduate, a member of the First United Methodist Church of New Berlin and was employed by Preferred Mutual Insurance Company of New Berlin until her retirement.

On October 18, 1958 she married Herbert Foster in New Berlin, NY.  He predeceased her on June 4, 2010.

Margaret is survived by her children; Dale & Margaret (Peggy) Law of Sherburne, NY, James & Marcy Foster of Arlington, VA, Joseph & Jennifer Foster of Litchfield, ME, daughter-in-law; Anita Foster of Dallas, GA, grandchildren; Nichole, Amanda, Chelsea, Kaitlin, Erin & Spencer and great grandchildren; Jackson & Haley.  She is also survived by her siblings; Edward & Sharon Perrigo, Charlotte Maine, Janet Sitts, Evelyn May and Roy & Josephine Perrigo.  She was predeceased by one son, Steven Foster and one brother; Robert Perrigo.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Dakin Funeral Home LP, New Berlin, NY with Pastor Dick Anderson and Lay Minister Penny Harrington officiating.

Calling hours will be Thursday, August 15, 2019 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 PM also at the Dakin Funeral Home LP.

The interment will be in the Columbus Corners Cemetery in the Town of Columbus, NY.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or The American Diabetes Association.
