Rachel Gould

Rachel Caroline Southern Gould, 101 yrs. old of New Berlin, NY passed away on June 27, 2019 in Minoa, NY.

Rachel was born on December 6, 1917 in Morris, NY the daughter of Fred & Mabel (Jenks) Southern.  Her childhood was spent in Morris where she attended and graduated from Morris Central School.  She was employed by Kraft Foods until her retirement.

Rachel is survived by her daughter; Carol L. Gould Kapp of Syracuse, NY, grandchildren; James (Ileana) Prentice, Randy (Christine) Prentice, Lisa (Michael) Calabria, Annelis Kapp, Willy (Jennifer) Kapp, Michelle Gould, Shannon (Miahyun) Gould, great grandchildren; Ashley Prentice, Jessica Prentice, Emily Prentice, Emersyn Calabria, Delaney Calabria, Zachary Carrigan, Victoria Carrigan, Brendan Kapp, Kennedy Kapp and Sam Gould and daughter-in-law, Karen Gould of Liverpool.

She was predeceased by her son; Jerry M. Gould and sibilings; Elizabeth Edwards, Thelma Myers, Howard Southern, Ruth Sherwood and Henry Southern.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Dakin Funeral Home LP, with Pastor Penny Harrington officiating.

The interment will be in the Hillington Cemetery, Morris, NY.
