Keith T. Stage went to be with the lord with his family by his side on October 25 2024, in Columbus, NY. Born on June 2, 1964, in New Berlin, NY, Keith embodied an easy-going spirit and was known for his caring nature and laid-back personality.
Keith began his professional journey at the Morris Big-M, subsequently working with Golden Artists for 21 years, where he demonstrated remarkable growth, starting in shipping and ultimately advancing to a position in marketing. His commitment to his career was paralleled only by his devotion to his family.
As a proud father and grandfather, Keith cherished spending quality time with his loved ones. He was an unwavering presence at his children's events and found particular joy in camping at Lebanon Reservoir over the past five years. Known as the cook and grillmaster, he would delight in preparing meals for family gatherings, and he greatly enjoyed the car show hosted at the campsite last year. Keith was also an avid guitarist, often seen sitting for hours playing along to his favorite music, especially the tunes of AC/DC. His interests included deer hunting, golfing, and caring for his goats, chickens, and his little dog, Lucas. A dedicated fan of the Minnesota Vikings, he embraced every opportunity to connect with family and friends through shared experiences.
Keith’s proudest accomplishments centered around his family, as he held immense pride in his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Jodi Stage, his son, Justin Stage (Tracy), his daughter, Kayla Stage (Todd Bice), and his four grandsons: Landon, Graysen, and Daxon Bice, and Parker Stage. He is also remembered by his sister, Rebecca Ritchey (Theodore), and brothers Randy Stage (Colleen) and Kurt Stage (Gwen), along with his mother-in-law, Elaine Gage, and brother-in-law, Bryan Johnson (Nancy).
Keith was preceded in death by his father, Robert Stage; his mother, Julia Stage (Hendrickson); his father-in-law, Roger Johnson; and his step-father-in-law, Richard Gage.
Visitation will be held on October 30, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 4:00 PM at Dakin Funeral Home, located at 17 N Main St, New Berlin, NY.
