Linda R Wiggins

Linda R. Wiggins, a cherished member of the New Berlin community, passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on October 25, 1946, in Rochester, NY, Linda was a person who filled the lives of those around her with warmth and sweetness.

Most recently, Linda dedicated her time as a school bus monitor for the Sherburne-Earlville school district, where she was able to touch the lives of many children. Prior to this role, she contributed her talents at Preferred Mutual Insurance Company, showcasing her commitment to service and support in all her endeavors.

Linda's passion for life was evident in her love of cooking, camping, gardening, and reading. A memorable aspect of her personality was her knack for baking; she delighted in creating delicious baked goods for everyone she knew, always seeking to brighten their day with her sweet creations. Linda also enjoyed chair yoga on Monday nights and shared many lunches with friends, valuing the connections she formed with others.

As a long time member of the New Berlin Auxiliary, Linda took great pride in her community involvement. She left behind a legacy of compassion and service that will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ken Wiggins, and her children, Amy (Wiggins) Hoxie and Tom Wiggins. Additionally, she leaves behind many friends and family members who will carry her memory in their hearts.

Calling hours in honor of Linda will be held on February 15, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Dakin Funeral Home, located at 17 N Main St, New Berlin, NY. Following the calling hours, a memorial service will take place at 2:00 PM, allowing those who loved her to gather and reflect on her life and the joy she brought into the world.

Linda will be deeply missed, but her spirit of kindness and her generous soul will remain a lasting influence upon all who were fortunate enough to know her.
