Allen Lindsay

Allen “Peewee” Lindsay, 86 yrs. old of New Berlin, NY passed away on August 13, 2020 at his home.

Allen was born on April 3, 1934 in Bridgewater, NY the son of Roy & Leola (Davis) Lindsay.  His childhood was spent in the Columbus and New Berlin, NY areas. He attended New Berlin Central School and served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict from 1953- 1960.  He enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his children; Robin & Daniel Rutenber of Holley, NY and William Lindsay of Buffalo, NY, brothers; Al Lindsay of NC and Elden Lindsay of Gilbertsville and sister, Verna Fauss of New Berlin as well as 3 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by one son, Michael Lindsay in 1976 and one sister, Joyce Waffle.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 24, 2020 at 1:00 PM in the Fairview Cemetery, New Berlin NY with Pastor Rob Lloyd officiating.  Social distancing will be practiced and masks will be required.
