Vita Margarum

Vita M. Margarum 80 yrs. old of South New Berlin, NY passed away on September 17, 2019 at her home.

Vita was born on May 30, 1939 in Middletown, NY the daughter of Thomas & Maude (Hart) Maurizzio.  Her childhood was spent in the Middletown area.

On December 14, 1957 she married Richard S. Margarum Sr. who predeceased her on May 8, 1999.

She is survived by her children; Richard & Dawn Margarum Jr.of Bainbridge, NY, Maidalee Walts of Utica, NY, Donna & Danial Ambrose of New Berlin, Kathy Margarum of Earlville & Scott H. Margarum of Morris, NY, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, siblings; Robert, Thomas and David Maurizzio, Debbie Read and Maudie Somer as well as a step-sister, Linda Funderburke.

She was predeceased by her brothers; Frank, Michael and Ralph Maurizzio and sister, Kathleen Hamilton.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 20, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Dakin Funeral Home LP, New Berlin, NY with Pastor Len Tyler officiating .

Calling hours will be held from 2:00-4:00 PM on Thursday, September 19, 2019 also at the funeral home.

The interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery, New Berlin, NY.
