Jennifer Maxson

Jennifer Maxson, 55 yrs. old, formerly of New Berlin, NY passed away on April 1, 2019 at the Charles T. Sitrin Health Care Center, New Hartford, NY.

Jennifer was born on July 30, 1963 in Delhi, NY, the daughter of Fred & Evelyn (Tyler) Maxson.  Her childhood was spent in New Berlin, NY where she attended New Berlin Central School.  She was employed at Ames Department Store, Great American and Todd’s Clothing Store in New Berlin.

She is survived by her mother Evelyn, sons; Malcolm Johnson of Oxford, NY, Matthew Johnson of Pompey, NY, sisters; Robin Wright of Norwich, Judy Rogers of Smyrna, Jackie Witt of Willet and brother; Jeffrey (Yogi) Maxson of Smyrna, grandchildren; Blake Chrysler, Marissa Chrysler, Kyra Johnson, Faith Johnson, Bridget Johnson, Cole Johnson, Tobey Johnson and Cameron Johnson and great grandchildren; Jaxson & Emmitt Martin.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Tim Button of the Smyrna Baptist Church officiating at the Dakin Funeral Home LP, New Berlin, NY.

Calling hours will be held prior to the funeral service from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM also at the funeral home.

The interment will be in the Sherburne West Hill Cemetery.
