Florence Miller

Florence E. Miller, 82 yrs. old of Burlington Flats, NY passed away on October 28, 2022, at Fox Memorial Hospital, Oneonta, NY.

Florence was born on June 29, 1940, in Brooklyn, NY the daughter of Robert & Elizabeth (Buss) Foster.   Her childhood was spent in LI and Worcester, NY.   She was a graduate of Draper Central School.   On April 18, 1958, she married Arthur Miller who survives her.

Florence was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.   She was an accomplished seamstress who enjoyed gardening, canning, dancing, and roller skating and in her youth, was a member of the rifle team at her high school.

In addition to her husband Arthur, she is survived by her children, Arthur Miller Jr. of Burlington Flats, Roger Miller & Kathy of Charlotte, TN, Daniel Miller & Lois of Webster, FL, Karen Miller of Walton, KY, and Tammy Miller of Hannacroix, NY as well as 13 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, one brother and sister-in-law, Donald, and Dot Foster of Schenevus, one sister, Helen Webre of Bend, OR and sister-in-law Betty Foster.

She was predeceased by her brothers, Robert & Herbert Foster, and sister Betty Embro.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at 3:00 PM at the Dakin Funeral Home, LP, 17 North Main St. New Berlin, NY with Pastor Rob Lloyd officiating.   Calling hours will be held from 1:00-3:00 PM prior to the funeral service.   The interment will follow in the Columbus Corners Cemetery.
