Jennie Osborn

Jennie Lynn Osborn, 59 yrs. old of New Berlin, NY passed away on November 12, 2021 at her home.

Jennie was born on May 15, 1962 in Kingston, NY the daughter of Charles and Mabel Bodie.

During her childhood she loved to spend time “upstate”.  On June 29, 1985 she married Donald Osborn, Jr. who predeceased her on November 5, 2003.

Jennie was a housewife most of her life.  Her door was always open and her house felt like home to all that visited.  She loved to be surrounded by friends and family, whether it be for a quick stop to sit around the table drinking coffee and playing a board game or for a place to stay.  She also loved playing slots at Turning Stone and watching cheesy sci-fi movies at home.

Jennie is survived by her companion, Leon Beckwith, her children; Donald Osborn III (Heather ManWarren) of New Berlin, NY, Samantha Osborn of New Berlin, Wayne Osborn (Samantha Divola) of Vero Beach, FL, Steven Osborn (McKenzie Knapp) of New Berlin, NY and Jenna Beckwith of New Berlin, NY, grandchildren whom she adored; Whitney Rogers, Alyssa ManWarren, AJ Boss, Owen Boss, Jackson Osborn, Jacoby Osborn, siblings; Charles Bodie Jr. (Chucky), Mary Orbacz, Vivian Bodie, Wayne Bodie (Paula), Mabel Coumbes (Craig) and Lee Foster.
She was predeceased by her son, Shane Osborn in 1993 and was also pre-deceased by siblings; Phyllis Mott, William Bodie, Kandy Mendock, Janet Reynolds, Chayanne Bodie, Bonnie O’dell and Dean Bodie.

A special thank you to Hospice of Chenango County for all of their support during Jennie’s last days.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
