Lee Rollins

Richard Lee Rollins, 88 yrs. old of Garrettsville, NY passed away on August 3, 2021 in Cooperstown, NY.

Richard was born on May 21, 1933 in Edmeston, NY the son of Arnold W. & Wilma C. Rollins.  His childhood was spent in the Edmeston area.  He was a graduate of Edmeston Central and attended the Forestry School of Syracuse, NY. He served in the US Army and later as the post master in Garrettsville and New Berlin.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman and had his private pilot license.

On January 1, 1956 he married June Eileen Poling Rollins who predeceased him on November 24, 2008.

Richard is survived by his children; Pamela J. Birdsall of Brookfield, NY, Patricia J. Rollins-Arteaga of Flower M ound, Tx and Patrick Jon Rollins of Edmeston, NY, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandson as well as his brother; Thomas Rollins of Laurens, NY.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Edmeston Union Cemetery, Edmeston, NY.
