Ronald Sorval

Ronald was born to Thomas and Edna Sorval on October 29th,1931. Ronald spent most of his life living in Family Care through Broome DDSO. Ron was known to form tight bonds with people he knew; to know him was to love him! Ronald proudly worked at ARC Otsego’s Sheltered Workshop before attending New Berlin Day Hab. Ronald loved his day program and almost nothing would stop him from wanting to attend. Ron loved to stay busy. From gardening to using various art mediums, his hands were always moving. He loved celebrating, loved Holidays, and anything to do with him socializing! He wasn’t going to leave without having one more celebration. His beloved staff at New Berlin Day Hab made sure to create a personalized birthday celebration and brought the party to him the day before he passed. Surrounded by love and care, and comforted by his Broome family, Ronald passed peacefully on September 28th, 2024. Ronald will be remembered for his Joy, affection, zest for life, and an unwavering energy even at 92 years old.
