Gloria Tucker

Gloria Tucker, 78 yrs. old of Beaver Meadow, formerly from the New Berlin area, passed away on November 29, 2018 surrounded by her loving family at the Norwich Rehab and Nursing Center.

Gloria was born on July 25, 1940 in Auburn, NY the daughter of Charles & Martha Drew.  Her childhood was spent on Skaneateles Lake where she attended Skaneateles High School.

While her children were small and in school she worked in the local school cafeteria and also did some factory work, however most of the time she was a busy stay at home Mom raising her 5 children.

On July 25, 1959 Gloria married Lloyd Thompson who predeceased her on January 19, 2015.

She is survived by her 5 children and their families; Penne, who has 6 children and multiple grandchildren, Kim who has 4 children and 5 grandchildren, Timothy with 2 children, William with 7 children and grandchildren and Lloyd who has 2 children.  She is also survived by her sister, Barb Fitzgerald of Weedsport & Florida.

She was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Brookfield.

A graveside service will be held in the Fairview Cemetery New Berlin, NY, Tuesday December 4, 2018 at 10:00am.
